Gootee Construction has a long standing relationship with The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, we performed several exterior renovations and upgrades. The hotel sustained significant storm damage and Gootee restored it to its pre-storm condition. Everything in the flooded basement - staff offices, laudry system and AHU’s for the first three foors – were repaired and restored.
. All roof damage was repaired and every guest room, kitchen, and ballroom was restored. A new 600-ton chiller was installed and The Gallery of Shops was converted to meeting rooms. The existing Spa, Fitness Center, Melange Restaurant and French Quarter Bar were renovated.
